World Team Championship 2026 overlays

Stream overlays for the World Team Championship 2026, the Warhammer 40,000 team event in Mechelen, Belgium from 13 to 16 August 2026. Live team standings and the pod draw, plus a roster, an intro card and every army list for all 46 teams. Paste a URL into an OBS browser source. They are free and there is nothing to sign up for.

Standings come from the event on Best Coast Pairings. The pod draw is the one published on 29 July 2026: 46 teams in 11 pods.

Stream intro

A full-screen opening card with the team, the captain and the eight players. This one brings its own background, so it covers the scene instead of sitting over it.

Swap the team

Both URLs end in the team, and the pod overlay ends in the pod: /overlay/wtc/intro/<team>, /overlay/wtc/team/<team> and /overlay/wtc/pod/<1-11>. Click a team to copy its intro URL.

Army lists

One player's list over two columns, with attached units kept whole so a leader, its support character and its bodyguard stay together. All 368 players are loaded, at /overlay/wtc/list/<player>. Pick a team, then click a player to copy their URL.

Getting it on stream

Three steps, the same for every overlay here.

    Add a browser source

    In OBS, add a Browser source to your scene and paste one of the URLs above.

  2. 02

    Set it to 1920 by 1080

    The overlays are drawn on a full 1080p canvas and centre themselves on it. Leave the size at the canvas size and position the source, not the panel.

  3. 03

    Leave the rest alone

    The overlays are already transparent, so nothing to configure. The intro card is the one exception: it brings its own background, because it is meant to cover the scene.

Questions

Common questions

Do I need a gd streamer account to use the WTC 2026 overlays?
No. They are open URLs. Paste one into an OBS browser source and it works. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to configure.
Are the overlays free?
Yes, all of them are free for anyone streaming the event. They carry a small line along the bottom crediting gd streamer and listhammer.info, which is where the rosters and army lists come from.
Is there an overlay for a specific team?
Yes. Every one of the 46 teams has a stream intro card, a roster overlay showing each player's faction, detachments and force disposition, and an army list overlay per player. The team goes in the URL, for example /overlay/wtc/intro/netherlands and /overlay/wtc/team/netherlands.
Where do the rosters, dispositions and army lists come from?
All of it comes from Listhammer, which publishes the WTC entry data: the captain per team, and per player the faction, the detachments, the force disposition and the army list itself. Nothing is filled in by hand. Where Listhammer publishes no disposition for a player, the overlay says so rather than guessing.
Where do the team standings come from?
The standings are read from the World Team Championship 2026 event on Best Coast Pairings, the tournament software the WTC runs on. Teams are ranked by Team Points from their record, then by Battle Points.
How often do the standings update?
The overlay refreshes once a minute, on its own, without reloading the browser source. Everyone watching shares the same cached snapshot, so the tournament only sees one request per minute however many streams are running.
What are the WTC pods?
Pods group the teams for the first three rounds, so nations of roughly equal strength meet each other early. The 2026 draw puts 46 teams into 11 pods: ten pods of four and one of six. It was published on 29 July 2026 and does not change during the event.
Can I show only part of the standings table?
Yes. Add ?page=2 to the standings URL to hold one page of ten teams, or ?marquee=0 to stay on the first page instead of cycling through the field.
