Quick matches
One-off games that do not belong to an event, and how to move a match into or out of an event.

A quick match is a match without an event. Use it for a single game: a Friday night clash, a test stream, a practice game.
Quick matches sit in their own section at the bottom of the Events page. Press Quick match to create one. The wizard asks for the name, the game system, the players and the scoring options, then opens the match dashboard.
A quick match has everything a game of an event has: players, scores, a timer, overlays, a tablet link and a Stream Deck profile. It has no schedule, no roster and no Teams page, because those belong to an event.
Plan limits#
Quick matches and events both count toward the project limit of your plan. When you are at the limit, the Events page says so next to New event. Delete a quick match or an event to make room.
Move a quick match into an event#
Open the quick match, go to Settings, and pick an event under Event. Press Move. The match becomes a game of that event and appears on its schedule. The move is refused when the event is at its games per event limit.
Detach a game from an event#
Open the game, go to Settings, and press Detach from event. The game becomes a quick match. It keeps its players and scores but leaves the schedule. The detach is refused when it would put you over the project limit.
Matches from before events#
Every match you made before events existed is a quick match. It works as before. Event details and schedules that were attached to a match are not carried over. Set the event up again with the wizard and move the matches in, or delete the old ones.
