What is event schedule?#

The event schedule lets you pre-configure upcoming matches so you can load them quickly during a tournament broadcast. Instead of manually entering player names, factions, and army details between rounds, you prepare everything ahead of time and load it with a click.

Info
Event schedule is a Studio tier feature. studio

How it works#

Save schedule items#

Each schedule item stores the configuration for an upcoming game:

  • Player names -- both players' display names
  • Factions -- each player's army faction
  • Teams -- team names for team events
  • List links -- URLs to each player's army list
  • Mission and deployment -- the game mission and deployment zone
  • Terrain map link -- a link to the terrain layout

Load into active match#

When it's time for the next game, load a schedule item into your active match. All the pre-configured player and game data populates instantly -- no retyping.

Setting up a schedule#

Open your match

Go to the match page on your dashboard.

Go to the Event tab

Click the Event tab in the match navigation.

Add schedule items

Create entries for each upcoming game. Enter player names, factions, mission, deployment, and any other match details.

Load when ready

When you're about to broadcast a game, select the corresponding schedule item and load it into your match.

Event details#

Before adding schedule items, configure the top-level event information. These fields are optional but help identify your event on overlays like the coming-next screen.

Event name#

A display name for your tournament or event (e.g., "WTC 2025", "London GT Round 3"). This appears on the coming-next overlay alongside match preview data.

A URL to the tournament page, BCP event, or any relevant external link for the event.

Rounds#

The total number of rounds in the event (e.g., 5 for a typical GT). This is informational and helps you plan your schedule.

Schedule item fields#

When you add a schedule item, you first choose its type: Match or Other.

  • Match -- a game between two players, with full match data fields
  • Other -- a non-game entry like a lunch break, awards ceremony, or setup time

Common fields#

Every schedule item (match or other) has:

FieldDescription
NameLabel for the item (e.g., "Round 1", "Lunch Break")
Start timeWhen this item begins (HH:mm format)
End timeWhen this item ends (HH:mm format)

Match-specific fields#

When the type is Match, additional fields appear for configuring both players and the game setup.

Per-player fields

Each player (Player 1 and Player 2) has:

FieldDescription
NamePlayer's display name or gamertag
FactionSearchable dropdown of all supported factions
TeamTeam name for team events (optional)
List linkURL to the player's army list (optional)

Game setup fields

FieldDescription
MissionSearchable dropdown of all available missions
DeploymentSearchable dropdown of all deployment zone configurations
Terrain map linkURL to a terrain map image or document (optional)
Info
All fields except Name are optional. You can fill in as much or as little as you know ahead of time and update items later.

Loading into a match#

When you load a schedule item into your active match, a confirmation dialog shows exactly what data will be applied:

  • Player names and factions for both players
  • Mission and deployment settings
  • Team names and list links

You also get the option to reset scores to zero, which clears all round data, roll-off results, first turn assignment, and attacker/defender roles. Leave this unchecked if you want to preserve the current scoring state.

Tip
Loading a schedule item preserves player colors and game settings like WTC scoring and faction icons. Only the player identity and mission data gets overwritten.

Use cases#

Multi-round tournaments#

The primary use case. When you're covering a tournament with 5+ rounds across a day, the schedule keeps all your match data organized and ready to go. Between rounds, load the next schedule item and you're live in seconds.

Pre-show preparation#

Set up your entire event schedule before the broadcast starts. This lets you focus on commentary and production during the stream instead of data entry.

Team events#

For team tournaments with multiple tables, prepare schedule items for every pairing. Switch between tables by loading the appropriate schedule item.

Tip
Prepare your full event schedule the night before a tournament broadcast. On game day, you'll have everything ready and can focus entirely on the stream.
