Scoring
standardHow players enter primary scores, secondary scores, and command points during a match.
Last updated: 2026-03-23Score entry#
Once the match reaches Step 4 (round scoring), each player enters their scores on their device. The interface is designed for quick, tap-based input so players spend more time playing and less time managing data.
Primary score#
Primary VP is capped at 50 points total across all 5 rounds. The per-round maximum adjusts dynamically based on what you've already scored -- if you've earned 30 VP in rounds 1-3, the maximum for remaining rounds is 20 combined.
Use the number input or tap controls to set your primary VP for the current round.
Secondary scores#
Each player has 2 secondary objectives. For each one:
- The selected card is displayed with its name and image
- Enter the VP scored for that secondary this round
- Fixed secondaries stay the same every round
- Tactical secondaries may change round to round (see Secondary Management)
Command Points#
Track your current Command Points (CP) each round. CP has no cap and can go negative if effects require spending more CP than you have. Update your CP count as it changes throughout the round.
Navigating between rounds#
Use the round navigation controls to move between rounds 1 through 5. This lets you:
- Review scores from earlier rounds
- Correct mistakes in previous rounds
- Jump ahead if you're catching up on data entry
All changes are saved instantly -- there is no submit button. Every update syncs to the dashboard and overlays in real time.
Real-time sync#
Every score change on the tablet is immediately reflected on:
- Your dashboard -- the match overview updates live
- All connected overlays -- scoreboards, round trackers, and score banners in OBS update within milliseconds
- The other player's device -- both sides see the current match state
