Introduction to gd streamer
Learn what gd streamer is, who it's for, and how it helps tabletop wargaming streamers create professional broadcast overlays.
Last updated: 2026-03-23What is gd streamer?#
gd streamer is a web-based overlay system for tabletop wargaming streamers. It gives you broadcast-grade scoring overlays, real-time data updates, and tablet-based player input. Everything you need to run a professional-looking stream without a production crew.
You set up a match, players enter scores on their phones or a shared tablet at the table, and your OBS overlays update automatically as scores change. No manual data entry during the stream. No alt-tabbing. No mistakes.
Who is it for?#
gd streamer is built for:
- Tabletop wargaming streamers covering Warhammer 40K 10th and 11th Edition, Age of Sigmar 4th Edition, and other competitive games
- Tournament organizers running live broadcasts of competitive events
- Esports broadcasters who need reliable, real-time scoring graphics
It fits casual garage streams and major tournament broadcasts.
Key features#
Real-time overlays#
Choose from a library of 43+ overlay graphics: scoreboards, player cards, round trackers, score banners, and more. Every overlay has a transparent background so it layers cleanly on top of your stream in OBS. All overlays come in four visual styles:
- Tech: sharp, angular, command-center aesthetic
- Glass: frosted glass panels with a softer, modern look
- Fantasy: aged leather, gold borders, and serif type for fantasy streams
- Flat: clean broadcast graphics with no decoration, built for readability
Player input#
Players use their own phones or a shared tablet at the table to enter scores, select secondaries, and mark battle tactics. Every change pushes to your overlays in real-time, no middleman required.
Timer#
Run a countdown timer or set a target end time. The timer overlay displays on stream, and both players can see it on their player input screens.
Co-streamer invites#
Invite a co-streamer to help manage your matches. They get access to the same dashboard and can update match data alongside you, without sharing your account credentials.
WTC scoring support#
Running a World Team Championship event? Toggle WTC scoring mode on any match to use the official WTC points calculation alongside standard victory points.
Stream Deck integration standard#
Control your match with a Stream Deck. Advance rounds, start/stop/reset timers, all from physical buttons without touching your keyboard.
Event schedule studio#
Display an event schedule overlay showing upcoming matches, times, and table assignments. Useful for multi-round tournament broadcasts.
Automations studio#
Build timed overlay sequences (lower thirds, tickers, player intros, secondary reveals) and fire them by hand, from a Stream Deck key, or from a game event. Sequences play in a dedicated Automation Layer browser source, so your other overlays are never touched. See Automations.
Subscription tiers#
gd streamer offers three tiers to fit how you stream:
